Maintenance tips

Jewellery is precious and should be treated with the utmost care. Some precautions are necessary to maintain its beauty and shine:

  • Jewellery does not like cosmetics, humidity in the bathroom, sand and sea, playing sports or doing a manual activity (detergents, bleach, ammonia or alcohol).
  • When you are not wearing your jewel, store it in a Hekaya case to protect it from any shock or scratches. It is not recommended to store several pieces of jewellery in the same box as they could get scratched by friction.
  • Your jewellery can be cleaned to intensify its shine: rub it gently with a soft toothbrush and soapy water, then rinse with hot water and dry with a soft cloth or with a hair dryer on cold air.

Protected, and refined, to give as a gift or wear your selected creation is presented in a protective case with its certificate of authenticity.

Description

In pursuit of goodness and excellence.  Al-Ihsan ring - a new addition to the collection dedicated to al-Quds. This ring was inspired by the intricate ceiling patterns of Al-Aqsa mosque. Black enamel and golden citrine stone in 18K gold ring is a perfect blend for those who covet classic colour combinations.

The term 'Ihsan' is derived from the Arabic word: حسن , which means beauty, goodness, and excellence.  Verb "ahsana" (أحسن)  means "to do good" or "to do something in the best possible way". In Islam, Ihsan is muslim's responsibility to attain perfection or excellence in worship and in all good actions he makes. In the hadith of Jibreel, Prophet  ﷺ said: "Ihsan is to worship Allah as though you see Him, and if you cannot see Him, then indeed he sees you".  Sahih al-Bukhari (Book 2, hadith 50).

Al-Quds (Bayt al-Maqdis) is one of the oldest cities in the world and is considered holy in Judaism, Christianity and Islam. 'Al-Quds' literally means 'the Holy one' , and it's the location of Masjid Al-Aqsa- the third holiest place in Islam. Al-Quds was the first qiblah of the muslims. It is the place where Revelation came down, and it's the homeland of many Prophets. The Messenger (ﷺ) was taken to Bayt al-Maqdis on his night journey (Al-Israa') from al-Masjid al-Haraam to Masjid al-Aqsa. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):"Glorified (and Exalted) be He (Allah) Who took his slave (Muhammad) for a journey by night from al-Masjid al-Haraam (at Makkah) to al-Masjid al-Aqsa (in Jerusalem)..." [Al-Israa' 17:1]. This is also significant as one prayer in Masjid al-Aqsa is equivalent to two hundred and fifty prayers elsewhere
